WM Welcomes Robert Ridgell

Wallace Montgomery welcomes Robert G. Ridgell, P.E., DBIA, CCM – Associate Vice President. He brings over 16 years of experience in the construction industry starting with his boots on the ground as skilled labor at a family company while in school. He has since served in various roles in General Contracting, Geotechnical Engineering, Materials Testing, Inspection, and Project Management. Robert most recently served as District Mega Projects Engineer with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) where he was responsible for managing an approximate $1B alternative delivery program on I-95 in the Fredericksburg region and acted as Responsible Charge Engineer for the recently completed, award winning, Chatham Bridge Reconstruction. He is a proud Hokie with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech. In 2020, he was selected for the Top 40 Under 40 Champions of Construction from Autodesk; and in 2021 received the VDOT Commissioners Award for Innovation in eConstruction for championing tablet-based inspection. At Wallace Montgomery, Robert will bring his passion for decisive boots on the ground Construction Quality, Management, and Controls to our clients and industry partners.
