Hollywood Streetscape Project wins Award

Wallace Montgomery (WM) and the City of College Park are honored to receive Maryland Department of Planning’s (MDP) 2023 Sustainable Communities Award for the Hollywood Streetscape project. MDP recognizes projects that incorporate smart growth principles and improve the environment and quality of life in communities.

WM served as lead designer for this streetscape improvements project that improved pedestrian, bike, and bus facilities; created more usable public space; and improve the aesthetics and visually unify the streetscape to provide a distinct sense of place for the Hollywood neighborhood.
