Julia Simo, PE, DBIA – Promoted to Associate Vice President

Since joining Wallace Montgomery in 2020, Julia Simo has led design on complex, award‑winning design‑build projects in Virginia, delivering constructable solutions that keep people moving and projects on schedule. Her leadership as Design Manager and Deputy Design Manager has driven successful outcomes on corridor, interchange, and roundabout improvements across the Commonwealth.

Julia was recognized as a 2022 Rising Star by Civil + Structural Engineer Magazine and is known for championing initiatives that modernize project delivery and improve efficiency. In her new role, she will guide delivery on high-impact transportation projects and continue raising the bar for technical excellence and client service.
