Henryton Road Bridge Replacement Project Receives ACEC/MD 2026 Engineering Excellence Honor Award for Small Projects

Wallace Montgomery is proud to share that the  Henryton Road Bridge Replacement Project received the ACEC/MD 2026 Engineering Excellence Honor Award for Small Projects.

This effort replaced a 90+ year-old, weight-restricted bridge that served as the sole access point for the surrounding community.  The new structure delivers enhanced safety, durability, and long-term value.

Wallace Montgomery was proud to lead design and develop an innovative temporary bypass solution to maintain continuous access throughout construction. Accelerated Bridge Construction strategies and an 80/20 federal-local funding split saved the County over $1M in local funds.
