Wallace Montgomery volunteers with Baltimore Hunger Project

We’re proud to share that Wallace Montgomery volunteers recently supported the Baltimore Hunger Project –  packing 500 weekend snack bags for local students to help ensure more children have the nourishment they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

Access to reliable meals often ends on Fridays for many Baltimore students. Without school-provided breakfast and lunch, thousands of children face weekends with limited food—returning to class on Monday tired, distracted, and less prepared to learn.

The Baltimore Hunger Project is working to change that by discreetly placing bags of nutritious, child-friendly food into students’ backpacks each Friday, along with a handwritten note of encouragement.
