Sonia Marichic-Goudy Installed as Honorary Commander

Wallace Montgomery is proud to recognize Sonia Marichic-Goudy, PE, Vice President, on her recent installation as an Honorary Commander at Dover Air Force Base.

Sonia was officially inducted during a full-day orientation that included engagement with military leadership, an introduction to the mission of Team Dover, an in-depth base tour—including inside a C‑17 and the freight operations mission—and a formal induction ceremony. During the ceremony, Sonia accepted the squadron flag, symbolizing her role as a trusted civilian partner to the installation.

Sonia has been paired with the Civil Engineering Squadron under Lt. Col. Shuler, where she will spend the next nine months building relationships, participating in squadron events, and gaining firsthand insight into the critical infrastructure and mission support that enables the Air Force to operate at the highest level.

This honor speaks to Sonia’s leadership, professionalism, and commitment to service—and it also reflects the values of Wallace Montgomery.
