Comprehensive planning, environmental, and engineering services for a new recreational nature trail and environmental education area under DelDOT’s Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP). The project includes detailed design of ADA compliant trails, wetland boardwalk with a viewing pier, parking facilities, and integrated green infrastructure enhancements that complement the surrounding landscape while minimizing impacts to sensitive natural resources.
Design efforts included site surveys, utility investigations, stormwater management design, environmental permitting, NEPA support, and agency coordination. Supported public outreach and stakeholder coordination to help shape a trail system that balances recreational use and connectivity, educational opportunities, and environmental stewardship. The project is progressing through final design, construction document preparation, bidding support, and construction inspection.
