February 2019 – The MD 404 Highway Widening Project Receives the MdQI Project the Year over $5M, MDOT SHA Modal Award over $5M, and Bronze Partnering Award

Congratulations to the MD 404 Design Joint Venture Team of Wallace Montgomery, JMT, and RK&K; the Construction Joint Venture of Wagman Heavy Civil, Allan Myers, and David A. Bramble, Inc.; as well as the Independent Design Quality Assurance of Century Engineering for winning the MdQI 2019 Project of the Year over $5M, the MdQI 2019 MDOT SHA Modal Award over $5M, and the MdQI 2019 Bronze Partnering Award. The project improves safety and reduces congestion along MD 404 and across three counties. The DB teams came together to complete this complex project work on a fast-tracked schedule — which demonstrates the power of consistent communication, innovative yet practical design, and comprehensive approaches to partnering.
