Design and construction of six separate interchange and intersection improvements under a single design-build contract. The project’s improvements include the: (1) I-64 and US 250 (Exit 124) Diverging Diamond Interchange; (2) I-64 and US 29 (Exit 118) Interchange Reconfiguration; (3) US 29 NB to Fontaine Avenue Exit Ramp Widening; (4) US 250 and Route 151 Roundabout; (5) Routes 20/649 Roundabout; and (6) a new Rio Mills Road to Berkmar Drive connector road. Also, incorporated a Truck Arrestor Ramp for runaway trucks along US 250 eastbound as an added safety feature to the 250/151 Roundabout approximately ¼ mile to the west of the intersection.
